About me
I'm Brian Alcorn, a hospitality and travel professional with 20+ years of experience in hospitality, travel, retail, customer service, sales, and operations. I bring more than 12 years of General Manager leadership experience, with a background in customer relationships, business development, revenue management, team leadership, and creating positive customer experiences. Outside of my professional career, I'm the creator behind Scouter74 Geocaching Adventures, a geocaching brand I've built since 2010. Through my website, social media, and geocaching community, I share geocaching adventures, unique cache discoveries, travel experiences, geocaching tips, gear and Tools of the Trade (TOTT), photos, and outdoor experiences. Scouter74 has an established Facebook audience of 1,300+ followers, supported by my website and additional social media channels. I also served as a Geocaching Merit Badge Counselor with the Boy Scouts of America from 2014–2021, helping introduce young people to geocaching and outdoor exploration. I'm interested in authentic brand partnerships involving travel, hospitality, outdoor recreation, geocaching, technology, automotive/travel products, gear, and products that fit naturally into an active, adventure-focused lifestyle. My goal is to create useful, authentic content that connects products and experiences with an audience that enjoys exploring, discovering new places, and getting outdoors.

Being a cache owner requires you to perform maintenance on your Geocaches whether they are full logs or wet logs. This week I have replaced three logs in my Geocaches. I have one more cache that is disabled I will be fixing this week.
