** hahaha not the 11:45pm 😭 A little behind the scenes of our UGC filming day 🎬 We rented an office space for 2 hours to batch film 3 concepts, mostly talking-head videos, office and coworking b roll. The office setting was actually apart of the concepts, so the client covered the rental cost. Here’s how we made the most of our time: ✔️ Came prepared with our scripts, storyboards, props, tripods and mics, extra phone (everything fully charged) ✔️ Took turns filming while the other person reviewed the storyboard to make sure we captured every shot ✔️ Bounced ideas off each other and gave feedback between takes ✔️ Checked off our shot lists before moving on to the next concept One thing I’ve learned is that you can’t just cowork with anyone. Having someone who matches your work ethic and creative flow makes such a difference! POV: you have 5 UGC videos to film for your retainer client today 🎥 My filming days are basically: get ready → plan outfits → review the briefs + brand notes → start filming → realize my phone is dying 😭 → charge EVERYTHING → take a little bone broth break → keep filming → send everything off to the brand. A few things that make batch filming way easier for me: • Review all the briefs before you start • Plan your outfits ahead of time • Keep any brand notes pulled up while you film • Charge your phone + equipment BEFORE you start lol • Take little breaks between videos so you don’t burn yourself out Not every content day is perfectly organized, but we get it done 😂 Follow for more realistic BTS of being a UGC creator 🙌
