Perimenopause is so weird because why are my EARS suddenly itchy and stuffy all the time? #ad

Hormonal changes can affect mucus membranes and inflammation throughout the body, and for a lot of women that even shows up in the ears. I seriously thought I was losing it trying to figure out why my ears constantly felt uncomfortable.

I spent forever using q-tips thinking they would help, but the itch was like one of those itches you just can’t scratch. I knew I needed something better than q-tips, so I got the @kaugic_official Smart Electric Ear Cleaner. It has proven to be such a better option for me. The warm water & adjustable pressure makes my ears feel way cleaner and less irritated afterward, it actually reaches that itch and stuffiness feeling.

It’s one of those random little things that has actually made a difference in my daily routine, like a big difference. Just another reminder that hormones can impact so much more than we were ever taught.

If you’ve been dealing with the same thing, or just need a simple way to remove ear wax and really clean out your ears, think Father’s Day and husbands with “selective hearing!” 😂

If you’ve been here a while, you might remember my 8 week update… this is week 16!!

Perimenopause hit my hair HARD! I have dealt with shedding, thinning, and hadn’t been feeling like myself. I started using the ProGro Density+ serum from @soapbox daily and stuck with it.

Now at 16 weeks, I’m seeing less hair fall, stronger strands, and actual regrowth, those baby hairs are finally doing their thing!

It’s not an overnight fix but consistency has made a real difference for me.

Whether you’re seeing hair loss from stress, postpartum, perimenopause, and other factors, see the link in my bio to find out how ProGro Density+ can help you.

You’re not crazy.
And no, you are not “too young.”

So many women enter perimenopause and have absolutely no idea that’s what’s happening to them because we were never properly educated on it. We were taught menopause meant hot flashes sometime in your 50’s, not that hormonal changes can begin in your late 30s or early 40s and last for YEARS.

So women start going to doctor after doctor trying to figure out why they suddenly don’t feel like themselves anymore. They’re exhausted no matter how much they sleep.

✅Their anxiety is through the roof.
✅They can’t focus.
✅Their periods change.
✅They gain weight differently.
✅Their joints hurt.
✅They wake up at 3am every night.
✅Their hair starts thinning.
✅Their heart races.
✅They get dizzy.
✅They feel rage, panic, brain fog, depression, overstimulation, numbness, low motivation, migraines, digestive issues, itchy skin, frozen shoulder, low libido, night sweats, weird tingling sensations, worsening ADHD symptoms, and so much more.

And because so many of these symptoms don’t “sound hormonal,” women often spend years trying to treat each symptom separately.
One doctor for anxiety.
One for heart palpitations.
One for gut issues.
One for migraines.
One for insomnia.
One for hair loss.

Meanwhile, many are told their labs are “normal” or that they’re “too young” for perimenopause because hormone levels fluctuate constantly and perimenopause is often diagnosed based more on symptoms and patterns than one perfect lab result.

So many women leave appointments feeling dismissed, confused, frustrated, and scared.

And listen, mental health struggles are REAL. Anxiety and depression are REAL. But hormones can absolutely impact mental health too, and women deserve doctors who understand the connection instead of making them feel dramatic or crazy.

The lack of education surrounding this stage of women’s health is failing women every single day.
So if you’ve been feeling unlike yourself lately, this is your reminder to start connecting the dots.

I’m trying to make wellness realistic over here.

I’ve been loving the @bloomsupps Strawberry Kiwi Greens & Superfoods because it’s one of the few things in my routine that feels EASY! I just mix it with water, head out the door, and still feel like I’m doing something good for my body while supporting gut health.

The strawberry kiwi flavor is SO good!!! What’s your favorite Bloom flavor?
