We’ve been going to Activate like crazy since it’s too hot to be outside and there are SO many games, and somehow we still haven’t made it through all of them. Okay Dallas!! Adding another AYCE spot to the list, but this one is top tier. @hono.bbq Japanese BBQ + sushi opened in May and feels like one of those places that hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves yet. They specialize in Wagyu and you can tell the quality blows all the other spots out of the water. We tried EVERYTHING, premium meats and seafood for the grill, sushi, hand rolls, hot kitchen dishes, and dont sleep on the appetizers. The Wagyu tartare was easily my favorite, and the Wagyu fried rice + lamb chops were also a must. They also have a full bar and you know if they have matcha and lychee cocktails I’m ordering it 🤪 The matcha martini was a 10/10 ⭐️!!! And if you like durian please get their durian ice scream it was SO GOOD!
