Take a peak inside Château de Lourmarin 🏰 This is located in the Luberon at my favorite French village, Lourmarin.
Walking the quaint streets of Aix-en-Provence always made me feel so alive ☀️ The lighting here is so magical, sound of the fountains was music to my ears, the smell of freshly baked bread lingering in the air, and just watching the locals live this beautiful life would instantly make me smile. I know I share a lot of the beauty of living in the South of France but it wasn’t always easy. Living so far from family was so hard, finding my people took 2 years, trying to make my personality come through in a different language took a toll on my mental health many times, the language never came easy to me. Now being back in Los Angeles I can really only think of all the positives in Provence. No matter where you live you will always face challenges and it really is all about perspective.
The dogs in the South of France are honestly living their best life. I was so impressed when I first moved to France and saw how many dogs are off leash, they were so well behaved. I like to think that the slower pace of life and environment has a lot do with their calm nature. Of course gotta give it up to their parents👏 🐕
Take me back to Provence. The simple joys of the market that takes place every day in Aix-en-Provence 🇫🇷
