TL;DR. A good influencer pitch email is short, personal and easy to say yes to. Brands care more about audience fit and engagement than about your follower count.
Six copy-and-paste emails below, each with a subject line: first pitch, PR package ask, paid collab pitch, follow-up, rates and results report.
No reply? Follow up after 4 to 5 days, then move on to the next brand.

You don't need millions of followers to land brand deals. Many brands work with smaller creators whose audiences are highly engaged in one niche, because those creators often cost less and their followers trust them. What gets you the deal is a clear, personal pitch, and an influencer pitch email template makes it fast to write, whether you want free products, a paid sponsorship or a long-term partnership.
What Brands Look for in an Influencer Pitch
When a marketing manager opens your email, the first question isn't how many followers you have. It's whether your audience, at any size, can help their brand.
Audience fit. Your followers should match their niche. A workout apparel brand wants fitness fans, not mukbang fans.
Engagement. An account with 3 million followers and quiet comments can be worth less to a brand than a 5,000-follower account whose audience talks back.
Professionalism. Clean formatting, a personal opening, and the numbers that show you own a clear niche.
Content quality. The brand will scroll your feed. If older posts look rushed, clean them up before you pitch.
For the bigger picture, read our guide on how to get brand deals. Have your influencer media kit ready to link, and set your prices with an influencer rate card before a brand asks.

Here it is filled in for a made-up creator and brand:
Subject line: Loving Lift Co. + a content idea for your grip socks
Hi Lift Co. team,
My name is Jess Rivera, and I'm a home workout creator based in Austin, Texas.
I've worn your grip socks in every Pilates video I've filmed this year. My followers ask about them all the time, and my Story about them last month got 40 replies.
I'd love to talk about a partnership. Two ideas: a 30-second Reel of a full mat routine in your socks, and a Story Q&A answering the sock questions from my comments.

All the best, Jess Rivera
Notice what it leaves out: no life story and no price. Your rates come later, when the brand replies.
2. Asking for a PR Package
Asking for a PR package is a low-risk way to test a product and build a relationship before a paid deal.

Hi [name or PR team],
I hope you're having a good week! I'm [your name], a [niche] creator and a big fan of [Brand name], especially your [product].
My community is always looking for honest reviews of the best products in [niche]. I'm planning next month's content and would love to feature your newest items if you're open to sending a PR package.

Hi [contact name], I hope you're doing well.
I'm [your name], and I create [niche] content for [number] followers on [platform]. My engagement rate is [rate], and most of my audience is [main demographic].
I've followed [Brand name] for a long time and love your products. My campaign idea: a dedicated [Reel, TikTok video, etc.] showing [product] in action with my honest review, plus an Instagram Story with a link sticker to your site.
My channel and past work: [media kit link]
Do you have time for a quick call this week? I can follow up with a formal proposal.
Best regards, [your name] | [handle]
When they agree to a call, our influencer proposal template turns your idea into a one-page offer with deliverables, timeline and price.
4. The Follow-Up
Brands get a lot of email, and bigger brands get even more. If your pitch gets no reply, send a polite follow-up 4 to 5 days later.
Subject line: Following up: partnership idea from [your name]
Hi [contact name], I'm following up in case my last email got buried in your inbox.
I'm still excited about working with [Brand name] and sharing your products with my followers.
Do you have a few minutes this week to talk through ideas? If someone else on the team handles partnerships, could you point me to them?
Thank you so much for your time!
All the best, [your name] | [handle]
5. Sending Your Rates
When a brand asks about pricing, reply with a clear, simple breakdown.
Subject line: Re: Partnership proposal: rates for [Brand name]
Hi [contact name],
Thanks so much for getting back to me! Based on the campaign goals we discussed, here are two options:
Option A, The Essentials: one dedicated [Reel, TikTok, etc.] plus three Instagram Stories with a link sticker, for $[rate].
Option B, Full Coverage: one dedicated video, three Stories with tracking links, and 90 days of usage rights, for $[rate].
I'm also happy to put together a custom bundle. My full rate card: [rate card link]
Let me know which option works best for you.
Thanks, [your name] | [handle]
Usage rights let the brand repost your video on its own channels or run it as an ad. Always give them a time limit and a separate price.
6. Results Report After a Campaign
Getting the deal isn't the end. A short results report shows you're a professional and sets you up for the next deal with the same brand.
Subject line: Campaign results: [your name] x [Brand name]
Hi [contact name],
Here are the final results from our recent collaboration. My community loved this content:
Total views: [number]
Engagement (likes, comments, shares, saves): [number]
Link clicks: [number]
Audience response: [e.g. mostly positive comments, several followers said they bought]
Live posts: [links]
Thank you for the opportunity. I'd love to talk about working together again.
Sincerely, [your name] | [handle]

Tips for Pitching Brands
Even the best sponsorship email template only works if you keep sending it. Don't get discouraged if the first few brands don't reply. That's normal, and most niches have plenty of brands, so keep a list and keep going.
Make the first two lines personal. Name a product you actually use and a post where it appeared.
Follow up once or twice, then move on.
Disclose every deal. If a brand pays you or sends you free products and you post about them, the FTC says to disclose that relationship clearly in the post. See the FTC's Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers.
Skip the Cold Pitch: Let Brands Find You
Pitching works, but writing to every brand one by one takes time. On Superdeal, creators get a free public profile that brands search by niche, so offers come to you without pitching. Each offer spells out the deliverables, dates and price, the contract is built in, and you e-sign right on the offer. Creators pay $0 and keep 100% of the agreed rate, minus standard payment processing. You get paid when your delivered work is approved.
๐ Create your free creator profile and let brands in your niche send you offers.
Brand Pitch Email FAQ
What should an influencer pitch email include?
Who you are and your niche, why you like the brand's product, one or two specific content ideas, and a link to your media kit. Send your price when the brand replies, not in the first email.
How long should a brand pitch email be?
Short enough to read in under a minute, usually five to eight sentences. Put the details in your media kit and link to it.
Do I need a lot of followers to pitch brands?
Not necessarily. Many brands care more about audience fit and engagement than follower count, so a small account with an active, focused audience can land deals.
When should I follow up on a brand pitch?
Wait 4 to 5 days, then send one short follow-up in the same thread. If a second follow-up gets no answer, move on to the next brand.
Can I pitch a brand by DM instead of email?
Yes. Keep a DM to three or four lines: who you are, why their product fits your audience, and a request for the right email to send your media kit to.
